GoShare® Terms and Conditions

Please carefully review these terms and conditions below (the “Terms and Conditions”) in their entirety before using GoShare Services (defined infra). The Terms and Conditions set forth the legally binding terms and conditions governing your use of GoShare Services provided by Gogoro Inc. and its affiliates and/or subsidiaries (including but not limited to Gogoro Network (Cayman), Taiwan Branch, Gogoro Taiwan Limited, Gogoro Taiwan Sales and Service Limited, GoShare Taiwan Limited, GoPocket Taiwan Limited, collectively referred to hereinafter as “Gogoro”). By using GoShare Services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of the provisions in the Terms and Conditions in part or in all, please do not use GoShare Services.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions apply to any and all GoShare services accessed by you through any operating system, including but not limited to GoShare services in each and every region and/or country where Gogoro has not yet set forth specific Terms and Conditions thereof (collectively, “GoShare Services”).
Gogoro has the right, but not the obligation, to add, change, edit, amend, revise, modify, or remove any portion of the Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion at any time without notice. The updated Terms and Conditions will become effective on the date of publication thereof unless otherwise stipulated in the Terms and Conditions. You should periodically check the Terms and Conditions for any changes thereof, and your continued use of GoShare Services after the publication of the updated Terms and Conditions constitutes your agreement and acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with any of the amended provisions in the Terms and Conditions in part or in all, please do not use GoShare Services.
Eligibility
To apply and register for GoShare Services, you must be a natural person, be eighteen (18) years of age or older, have an ROC (Taiwan) National Identification Card or a Resident Certificate (valid and not expired) or a foreign passport, and have an ROC (Taiwan) driver’s license (original or reissued) or an international driver’s license. However, Gogoro has the right to ultimately decide whether or not to approve your application, and Gogoro’s approval of your application is not an endorsement or guarantee of your qualifications to legally operate a scooter. You acknowledge and agree that your use or continued use of GoShare Services constitutes your representation that you have the legal capacity or have obtained the permission of your legal guardian(s) to use GoShare Services. If you do not have the legal capacity and have not obtained the permission of your legal guardian(s) to use GoShare Services, please do not use GoShare Services. Gogoro only accepts GoShare applications submitted under the names of individuals. GoShare applications may not be submitted under the names of any companies, firms, sole proprietorships, partnerships, incorporated entities or other organizations.
When using GoShare Services, you shall only drive a vehicle based on the terms and restrictions noted on your driver’s license. The system provides no guarantee of providing vehicles that meet the terms and restrictions noted on your driver's license. If an inappropriate vehicle has been made available to you due to a system error (e.g., your driver’s license only allows you to operate a regular light-duty scooter but the system has provided a regular heavy-duty scooter to you), you shall immediately cease using GoShare Services and contact Gogoro’s customer service (hotline: +886-2-7743-0695). You acknowledge and agree that if you use GoShare Services without a driver’s license or after your driver’s license to operate a scooter has been suspended, revoked or canceled, Gogoro will not be liable for your violation of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act and any penalty, fine, damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith; any and all legal ramification therefrom shall be solely borne by you, including without limitation any claims against Gogoro that a third party may pursue.
If your driver’s license has been suspended, revoked or canceled, you shall immediately notify Gogoro (via Gogoro’s customer service hotline: +886-2-7743-0695). Upon receiving such notice, Gogoro will suspend your use of GoShare Services and may also terminate your GoShare Account without further notice.
GoShare Account and Verification Code
To apply and register for GoShare Services, you must scan and upload a copy of your original identification and driver’s license (both the front and back) that can be identified as the person, along with any other necessary information requested by Gogoro in order to enjoy the full range of features and functionality of GoShare Services. You hereby undertake to provide true, complete, accurate and the most updated personal information when applying and registering for GoShare Services. You shall be responsible for making sure that the personal information you provide stays updated and accurate at all times and shall notify Gogoro if there are any changes thereto so that Gogoro may be able to contact you and provide you with GoShare Services. You acknowledge and agree that if you are unable to receive any information relating to GoShare Services from Gogoro (including without limitation updates of the Terms and Conditions) or unable to use GoShare Services due to any false, inaccurate, incomplete or outdated personal information you have provided, you shall be solely liable and/or responsible for any and all damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith.
You undertake that you have not and will not apply and register for GoShare Services using any name other than your own. You may only apply for and register only one (1) account (“GoShare Account”) to use GoShare Services and may not apply for and register multiple GoShare Accounts. You agree not to sell, lease out, pledge, impose a lien on, mortgage, transfer, assign or otherwise allow a third party to use your GoShare Account and any interests thereunder. You also agree not to share your GoShare Account with any third party. You shall comply with Gogoro’s rules and procedures for the creation of GoShare Accounts and the use of verification codes. You acknowledge and agree that the user ID and verification code of your GoShare Account shall remain confidential and you are obligated to safeguard its confidentiality. You are responsible for the safekeeping of the user ID and verification code of your GoShare Account and may not provide or disclose them to any third party.
When the user ID and verification code of your GoShare Account are used to log in to the GoShare system in accordance with the procedures set forth by Gogoro, all activities occurring under your GoShare Account are presumed to be undertaken by you regardless if you are the one who logged in to the GoShare system. You agree to be solely responsible for all activities occurring under your GoShare Account. When you become aware of any actual or suspected theft or unauthorized use of your GoShare Account, please contact Gogoro immediately at support.tw@ridegoshare.com. When Gogoro becomes aware of any unauthorized use of your GoShare Account, Gogoro will immediately notify you via a lawfully permitted method and temporarily suspend the provision of GoShare Services to your GoShare Account. You shall be solely liable and/or responsible for any and all damage and/or loss arising from your GoShare Account if the theft or unauthorized use thereof is due to any of the following causes:
- your failure to safeguard the user ID or verification code of your GoShare Account;
- your disclosure of the user ID or verification code of your GoShare Account to any third party;
- your failure to follow the security protocol of GoShare Accounts set forth by Gogoro; or
- other causes attributable to you.
GoShare Services
GoShare Services allow registered users to rent a GoShare electric scooter at point A and return it at point B within the service area demarcated by Gogoro (the “GoShare Service Area”) through the GoShare Application (the “GoShare App”). When returning the electric scooter, the GoShare App will let you know if the scooter is parked inside the GoShare Service Area. If you park the scooter outside of the GoShare Service Area despite being informed so by the GoShare App, Gogoro will charge you a vehicle transport fee (the amount depends on factors such as distance, time and weather), parking fee and road tolls, and for the loss of business and other necessary expenses resulting therefrom.
You may search for and reserve an available GoShare electric scooter near you through the GoShare App. You shall pick up the reserved electric scooter within the timeframe indicated by the GoShare App; otherwise, your reservation will be canceled. If the GoShare electric scooter is rented for less than one (1) minute and driven for less than zero-point-one (0.1) kilometers, Gogoro will not charge you any fees.
You agree to use GoShare based on the principle of fair use. You may not occupy any GoShare electric scooter repeatedly or for a prolonged period of time, and may not prevent other users from renting any GoShare electric scooter by any other means (e.g., swapping batteries between two GoShare electric scooters); otherwise, Gogoro may immediately half to provide GoShare Services to you and retrieve the electric scooter in your possession, terminate your GoShare Account, and pursue a claim against you for any and all damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith, including but not limited to loss of business. It is explicitly recognized by you that if you use GoShare Services for an unreasonable long period of time, Gogoro will notify you via text message or phone call confirming your continuing use of GoShare Services. In the event of any failure of you to confirm your continuing using GoShare service via text message or phone call, or your failure to reply to the above-mentioned text message/ phone call constitutes, you shall be deemed to occupy any GoShare electric scooter repeatedly or for a prolonged period of time and to prevent other users from renting any GoShare electric scooter, violating the said principle of fair use. In this case, GoShare may still charge for the rental incurred while dealing with your violation of the principle of fair use per the above-mentioned disposals. You acknowledge if the GoShare electric scooter you rented is parked at any location outside of the GoShare Service Area hereunder due to your violation of the principle of fair use and Gogoro half to provide GoShare Services to you, Gogoro will charge you a vehicle transport fee (the amount depends on factors such as distance, time and weather), parking fee and road tolls, and for the loss of business and other necessary expenses resulting therefrom.
You acknowledge and agree that Gogoro can only provide you with the GoShare Services when there are GoShare electric scooters available, and that Gogoro does not guarantee that there will always be electric scooters available near you. You may review your rental records in the GoShare App. If you have any questions regarding the rental records, please contact us through support.tw@ridegoshare.com within seven (7) days following the issuance of the invoice.
You acknowledge and agree that the GoShare Services may be interrupted, experience malfunctions, have delays, or encounter errors during data transmission or storage due to failures of the network system, hardware, software or equipment of the telecommunications carriers or payment service providers, the occurrences of natural disasters or other force majeure events. If such event causes any delay in your schedule due to the unavailability of the GoShare electric scooter or your inability to complete the return procedure in time, Gogoro will not be liable therefor and reserves the right to reduce or waive the relevant fees (including but not limited to the rental).
Rental Rate and Payment Method
When you rent a GoShare electric scooter, Gogoro will charge you a fee based on the length of rental, distance driven, the rental rate applicable and the relevant event discounts (if any) at the time the scooter is rented. The aforementioned length of rental is calculated based on the minutes between the start of the rental and the moment that the GoShare system confirms that the GoShare electric scooter has been successfully returned. A fraction of a minute will be counted as one (1) minute, and the calculation will be based on time indicated by Gogoro’s computer system. The aforementioned distance driven is calculated based on the distance traveled within the length of rental. A fraction of a kilometer will be counted as one (1) kilometer, and the calculation will be based on distance indicated by Gogoro’s computer system. The rental rate is a floating rate that varies, depending on the location and demand at the time when the electric scooter is rented and will be indicated clearly at the time the scooter is rented. When returning a GoShare electric scooter, you shall park the electric scooter in a valid parking space within the GoShare Service Area. Upon confirmation that the electric scooter has been successfully returned and the charging of relevant fees by the GoShare system, Gogoro will send you a statement of the transaction and relevant documents via email. You may review the statement of the transaction in the GoShare App. If you have any questions regarding the statement, please contact us through support.tw@ridegoshare.com within seven (7) days following the issuance of the invoice.
When you apply and register for GoShare, you must register your credit card or debit card information to facilitate the payment of relevant fees. By submitting your credit or debit card information for the payment for the GoShare Services, you authorize Gogoro to process payment requests in your name to facilitate the payment of any and all fees arising out of or in connection with your use of GoShare Services, including but not limited to the rental, parking fee, road tolls, towing fee, roadside assistance fee, fines, criminal fine, processing fee, impound fee, custodial fee, vehicle transport fee, repair fee, cleaning fee, reproduction fee, civil compensation, costs incurred from loss of business and other necessary expenses; you also agree to reserve on your credit or debit card for Gogoro an amount equal to the aggregate of all the payments due and payable in respect of GoShare. If you have any questions regarding such fees, please contact us through support.tw@ridegoshare.com. If the credit or debit card that you have registered with GoShare is declined, Gogoro has the right to temporarily suspend the provision of the GoShare Services to you and may also terminate your GoShare Account without further notice.
You acknowledge and agree that any and all fees arising from or in connection with your use of GoShare shall be settled and paid in New Taiwan Dollars, and that any amount with a decimal point shall be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
GoShare Events
You understand and agree that Gogoro will organize GoShare events from time to time. When you agree to participate in these events, you are deemed to agree to the precautions of those events. If you do not agree to all or part of the events, please do not participate in those events. The content of the events (including but not limited to qualification for participation, conditions, methods, duration, restrictions, provision of discount and conditions of the discount, etc.) shall be subject to the event precautions announced by Gogoro. Gogoro reserves the right to add, delete, adjust, suspend or cancel related events at any time without prior notice; Gogoro has the ultimate right to interpret the content related to those events. You understand that if the GoShare Events involve goods or services that are not provided by Gogoro, the provider of the goods or services is the person/entity that shall be responsible to you for such goods or services. Gogoro shall not be deemed to provide any express or implied guarantee, and shall not be liable to you for any damages (losses) caused by or related to the goods and services provided by the said goods/services provider.
GoShare for Business
You understand and agree that Gogoro may cooperate with your company or employer (hereinafter referred to as "Appointed Enterprise"), and the Appointed Enterprise may provide you with riding discounts/subsidies (hereinafter referred to as riding discounts/subsidies”) for your use of GoShare Services. You must be the qualified person designated by the Appointed Enterprise and use GoShare Service in accordance with this Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to registering a GoShare for Business account with a specific domain’s email address or logging in with that email address, etc.) to be entitled to the riding discounts/subsidies offered by Appointed Enterprise to offset your personal rental. You recognize and understand that the riding discounts/subsidies are provided by Appointed Enterprise to you based on your personal use of the GoShare Services for the purpose of offsetting, in part or in all, your riding rental incurred from your use of GoShare Services. Riding discounts/subsidies are not a prerequisite or any condition for your use of GoShare Services, and you shall still use GoShare services in accordance with the provisions of this Terms and Conditions regardless of whether the riding discounts/subsidies are applicable. You agree that the riding discounts/subsidies are provided by the Appointed Enterprise based on your legal relationship (e.g. Employment, hire-of-work or mandate) with the Appointed Enterprise or other reasons, which has nothing to do with Gogoro. Gogoro does not provide any guarantee of your use of the riding discounts/subsidies. You agree that if you are unable to use the riding discounts/subsidies provided by the Appointed Enterprise to offset your personal riding rental due to incorrect operation of GoShare for Business or qualification issues, the rental for using GoShare should still be paid to Gogoro in full by you. You agree that the Appointed Enterprise may obtain and use your personal data (including but not limited to: borrowing time, location, vehicle number, riding time, riding rental, amount of riding discounts/subsidies, refund amount, payment status and applicable riding discounts/subsidies etc.) in order to manage your use of riding discounts/subsidies. You understand that if you use GoShare Service and you choose to use the riding discounts/subsidies provided by the Appointed Enterprise, you may not be able to participate in the events organized by Gogoro.
Invoice
Gogoro will issue electronic invoices on all your GoShare transactions in accordance with the applicable laws, store the electronic invoices in the GoShare membership e-invoice carriers, and notify you when an invoice has been issued. If and when any of the invoices bear the winning numbers of the “uniform-invoice lottery”, Gogoro will notify you within ten (10) days after the winning numbers have been announced. If you wish to obtain a hard copy of the electronic invoice, please contact any of the service providers designated by Gogoro to print out the electronic invoice. If an electronic invoice has been stored in the GoShare membership e-invoice carrier, the electronic invoice originally issued must be canceled in its entirety and a new invoice shall be issued. As a result, the invoice number of the electronic invoice would change and you would no longer be eligible to receive the uniform-invoice prizes exclusive for non-physical electronic invoices. You are responsible for the safekeeping of the hardcopy electronic invoice as it cannot be reissued in the event of loss or damage thereof.
Hardcopy Invoice
If the amount of a transaction needs to be adjusted, the electronic invoice originally issued for such transaction must be canceled in its entirety and a new invoice with the adjusted amount shall be issued for such transaction. In the event that a credit note needs to be issued for tax reporting purposes, you agree to, pursuant to the Guidelines Governing the Implementation of Electronic Invoices, authorize Gogoro to handle all matters pertaining to such credit note on your behalf without delivering any hardcopy credit note or requiring any signature thereon. Gogoro may issue, transmit or receive the credit note via the Internet or other electronic means. Following the issuance of the credit note, Gogoro will upload the adjusted invoice to the E-Invoice Platform of the Ministry of Finance.
Reminder to Users
GoShare runs on a fully automated system. For your own safety, please make sure that your mental and physical condition is suitable to operate a scooter before renting out a GoShare electric scooter. You shall also check the GoShare electric scooter (including but not limited to the brakes, tire pressure, lights and other equipment) in accordance with Gogoro’s guidelines and instructions to ensure that the scooter you are renting is in good working condition. If anything on the scooter is out of order or any other problem is found, you shall not rent out that scooter or shall immediately stop using that scooter and notify Gogoro’s customer service (hotline: 886-2-7743-0695). Gogoro reserves the right to reduce or waive the relevant fees (including but not limited to the rental).
When using a GoShare electric scooter, you shall comply with the laws, regulations, traffic safety rules and the common riding practice applicable in the Republic of China (Taiwan), shall be in possession of the driver’s license required to operate the GoShare electric scooter you have rented, follow the traffic signs, road markings, traffic signals, and the instructions and directions of the traffic police, be alert of the traffic conditions and your surroundings at all times, and keep a proper distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. When renting out a GoShare electric scooter, you shall be the only one that operates the GoShare electric scooter and may not allow any third party to ride the scooter or take on more passengers than allowed by the law. You may not use a GoShare electric scooter to transport any contraband, hazardous materials, anything unhygienic or may damage the GoShare electric scooter, any animal that is not suitable for carriage on a scooter, or any other items that may compromise the safety of riding the scooter. You may not use GoShare electric scooters to engage in anything that may infringe upon others’ rights or interest or anything in contravention of the law.
You shall particularly note the following traffic regulations. Pursuant to Article 35 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act:
- Paragraph 1: Should a test or inspection prove that any of the following offenses (an alcohol level exceeding the maximum tolerate standard or the use of drugs, hallucinogens, narcotics, or similar official controlled drugs) occurs on the driver, the motorcycle driver shall be fined from NT$ 15,000 to NT$ 90,000, motorcycles shall be removed from the scene and be detained by the authorities, and the driver license shall be suspended for 1 to 2 years. In the same case, should any passenger with the age of 12 or younger in the car, or result in an accident with injuries, the driver license shall be suspended for 2 to 4 years; and should said accident result in serious injury or death, the driver license shall be revoked and be permanently prohibited from driving:
- Paragraph 3: From the effective date of the amendments as published on April 17, 2019, car or motorcycle driver who violate Paragraph 1 twice within 10 years, shall be fined the highest penalty of Paragraph 1 by vehicle type, more than three times, the driver shall be fined the previous time’s penalty plus NT$ 90,000 ,the car or motorcycle shall be relocated and detained by authorities, and the driver license shall be revoked. Should the driver cause an accident resulting in serious injury or death, his/her driver license shall be revoked and he/she shall be permanently prohibited from applying a new driver license and taking the test.
- Paragraph 4: Should any of the followings occurs on the driver: “passing a checkpoint set up by the police to carry the inspection as described in Paragraph 1, refusing to follow instructions to stop for inspection”, “refusing to take the test as described in Paragraph 1”, “using products with alcohol, drugs, hallucinogens, narcotics, and other controlled substances before the test or inspection specified in Paragraph 1”, or “using products with alcohol, drugs, hallucinogens, narcotics, and other controlled substances after an traffic accident before the test or inspection specified in Paragraph 1 , the driver shall be fined from NT$ 180,000, the motorcycles shall be relocated and detained by the authorities and the driver license shall be revoked. Should the driver cause an accident resulting in serious injury or death, his/her driver license shall be revoked and he/she shall be permanently prohibited from applying a new driver license and taking the test:
- Paragraph 5: From the effective date of the amendments as published on April 17, 2019, a car or motorcycle driver violate Paragraph 4 twice within 10 years, the driver shall be fined NT$ 360,000, more than three times, driver shall be fined previous time’s penalty plus NT$ 180,000, the car or motorcycle shall be relocated and detained by the authorities, and the driver license shall be revoked. Should the driver cause an accident resulting in serious injury or death, his/her driver license shall be revoked and he/she shall be permanently prohibited from applying a new driver license and taking the test.
- Paragraph 10: Where the leasing company has endeavored to inform the car or motorcycle driver of the penalties under this Article and the driver still violates any of Paragraphs 1 and 3 to 5, his/her penalties under Paragraphs 1 and 3 to 5 shall be increased by one half, subject to the type of vehicle,
Pursuant to Article 43 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act: - Paragraph 1: In the event of any of the followings, the car driver shall be fined from NT$ 6,000 to NT$ 36,000 and prohibited from driving:
- Zigzagging or operating the vehicle in other dangerous manners.
- Exceeding the maximum speed limit by 40 km/hr or more.
- Tailgating, changing lanes without notifying, or forcing other vehicles to give their way by inappropriate manners.
- Suddenly cutting speed, braking or stopping in a lane not in an emergency situation.
- Removing mufflers or making noise by other means.
- Un-turning, reversing or driving wrong-way on freeway or highway.
- Paragraph 3: When two or more vehicles in a group violate the regulations as specified in Paragraph 1 or drivers engage in speed racing or competitions on roadways, each driver shall be fined from NT$ 30,000 to NT$ 90,000 and prohibited from driving right at scene; and his/her driver licenses shall be revoked.
If your use of a GoShare electric scooter violates any Criminal Codes, Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act or Waste Disposal Act, Gogoro will report the violation, cooperate with the competent authority for investigation and submit the relevant evidence in accordance with the law; you shall be solely responsible for any fines, criminal fines, processing fee, impound fee, custodial fee, vehicle transport fee, civil compensation and other necessary expenses arising therefrom and in connection therewith. Gogoro may also pursue a claim against you for any damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith, including but not limited to any and all expenses incurred due to driving under the influence, losses incurred due to confiscation of the vehicle, or Gogoro’s loss of business. If you violate any of the conditions as prescribed in Articles 35 and 43 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, you shall pay NT$ 10,800 to Gogoro as the punitive damages. Gogoro also has the right to temporarily suspend the provision of the GoShare Services to you and may also terminate your GoShare Account without further notice.
Pursuant to the “Minutes of Second Meeting for Establishment of Joint Reporting Mechanism among Ride Sharing Servicers for Material Violation” attached to the official letter of Transportation Department, New Taipei City Government dated April 21, 2022 with the reference no. of Shin-Bei-Chia-Gui-Zi- 1110686587 and letter of Department of Transportation, Taipei City Government dated October 20, 2023 with the reference no. of Bei-Shi-Chao-Kuan-Zi-1123044704 with regard to joint reporting process for violators among ride sharing servicers in Taipei City, the New Taipei City Government and Taipei City Government will provide a blacklist on a regular basis to GoShare containing individuals who have records of violations of Article 21 (driving without license), Article 35 (driving under influence), Article 43 (dangerous driving), Article 62 (hit and run) of Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, and unauthorized usage of other’s account (applicable to New Taipei City only) (collectively “Material Violation”) when using the ride sharing services in the New Taipei City and Taipei City, for which the personal information includes but not limited to name, ID number, plate number, violation time, reference number, violating articles and location). If you were in the blacklist of Material Violation provided by the New Taipei City Government or Taipei City Government, GoShare will terminate your GoShare Account and forbid you from applying for new account with us. In addition, if any Material Violation occurs to you during your use of GoShare Services, GoShare will terminate your GoShare Account and to provide your personal information (including but not limited to your name and ID no.) to the New Taipei City Government. New Taipei City Government will include you in their blacklist and provide the same to other ride sharing servicers within New Taipei City, for them to permanently forbid you from using the ride sharing services or applying for membership thereof, so as to maintain public safety.
When returning a GoShare electric scooter, you shall park the scooter in a curbside parking space managed by the city/county governments or the service providers engaged by the city/county government, or in one of Gogoro’s partner parking garages. If you park the GoShare electric scooter in any spot other than the forgoing spaces, a private parking lot, a parking garage, an area where parking is prohibited, a basement or other places with poor reception, you shall be solely responsible for any parking fee, fines, criminal fines, processing fee, impound fee, custodial fee, vehicle transport fee, civil compensation and other necessary expenses arising therefrom and in connection therewith. Gogoro may also pursue a claim against you for any damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith, including but not limited to Gogoro’s loss of business.
You acknowledge that some curbside parking spaces may have different parking time restrictions (for example, parking is limited to one hour only or can only park cars/scooters in a certain period of time in a day). If you return a GoShare electric scooter rented and park it in the above-mentioned parking spaces with restrictions, you shall be solely responsible for any parking fee, fines, criminal fines, processing fee, impound fee, custodial fee, vehicle transport fee, civil compensation and other necessary expenses arising therefrom and in connection therewith. You acknowledge that the GoShare APP may display notifications/pop-ups message to remind you that there may be such parking spaces with parking time restrictions at your location, but you recognize that related notifications/pop-ups message may not be precise for you to determine where to return and park the rented GoShare electric scooters and may cause error due to hardware, internet connection, software, communications, weather, technology and other related issues. You should still pay attention to the relevant signs around the parking spaces and park the rented GoShare electric scooters in accordance with this Terms and Conditions.
When returning a GoShare electric scooter, you can use GoShare APP to take photos of the returned electric scooter that can prove your returning the rented electric scooter according to rules as contemplated in this Terms and Conditions following the instructions as shown on GoShare APP. Suppose you do take and upload photos by using the said function, and after you return the electric scooter, the rented electric scooter is moved by someone else, or the location of your rented electric scooter is not parked at the above venue due to any reason, resulting in any parking fee, fines, processing fee, impound fee, custodial fee, vehicle transport fee and other necessary expenses arising therefrom, and in connection therewith, Gogoro will determine whether you return and park the rented electric scooter in accordance with this Terms and Conditions based on the photos taken and uploaded by you, and Gogoro reserves the right to reduce or waive the parking fee, fines, criminal fines, processing fee, impound fee, custodial fee, vehicle transport fee, civil compensation and other necessary expenses arising therefrom and in connection therewith. When you take and upload photos, you shall pay attention to the safety of yourself and the surrounding traffic to avoid injury to you and others. You shall hold Gogoro harmless from any injury to you or others for your using this function. You shall guarantee that the photos you take and upload will not unlawfully infringe the portrait rights, copyright, privacy, or other rights of others.
The cell phone charging stands on the GoShare electric scooters are provided for your convenience but are not part of the GoShare Services. You agree that Gogoro will not be liable for any and all damage and/or loss arising from or in connection with the cell phone charging stand.
When returning the GoShare electric scooter, you shall ensure that none of your personal belongings are left on the scooter or inside the luggage compartment of the GoShare electric scooter. If any personal belongings of any Gogoro members are recovered by Gogoro, such items will be sent to a designated lost-and-found location or to a police precinct. However, Gogoro will not be responsible for the safekeeping of any personal belongings of any Gogoro members.
The title of the GoShare electric scooters and the accessories attached thereto (including but not limited to the helmets, the smart batteries powered by Gogoro Network®, cell phone charging stands, and other miscellaneous items inside and on the GoShare electric scooters such as the rider’s manual and the stickers on the body of the electric scooters) belongs to Gogoro. Your use of a GoShare electric scooter will not give you any rights to the GoShare electric scooters or the accessories attached thereto. When returning a GoShare electric scooter, you shall place all such accessories inside the luggage compartment of the GoShare electric scooter. Without the prior written consent of Gogoro, you may not disassemble, modify, repair or take possession of any components or accessories of the GoShare electric scooter. You shall exercise the due care of a good administrator to keep safe and take care of the GoShare electric scooter and the accessories attached thereto.
When riding a GoShare electric scooter, you shall comply with the following rules on the use of smart batteries powered by Gogoro Network (the “Smart Batteries”):
- Do not place any Smart Battery in any high-temperature environment or expose any Smart Battery directly to sunlight for more than thirty (30) minutes;
- Do not use any Smart Battery for any purposes not approved by Gogoro; Please keep the connection port at the bottom of the Smart Battery clean and unobstructed at all time; do not let any metal object contact or short-circuit the connection port at the bottom of the Smart Battery;
- Do not burn, heat up, cool down, drown, drop, pound on, attempt to or actually disassemble or damage any Smart Battery;
- Do not take the Smart Battery apart or alter its appearance or structure;
- Do not charge or discharge any Smart Battery using any means not approved by Gogoro;
- Do not use any solvents or chemicals on any Smart Battery;
- Do not store or place any item in the space beneath the handle and above the lid of the Smart Battery;
- Do not temporarily or permanently alter the shape or appearance of the Smart Batteries through any means or technologies, including but not limited to the use of adhesives, paint, or laser sculpting;
- The Smart Batteries shall be kept and stored in an up-right position; and
- Do not dispose of any Smart Battery on your own; if a Smart Battery malfunctions, please contact Gogoro’s customer service (hotline: +886-2-7743-0695) for further assistance.
When handling the Smart Batteries, please note that:
- The temperature of the Smart Battery may rise slightly after use; please be careful when removing and swapping the Smart Batteries;
- Each Smart Battery weighs 9.8 kilograms; please handle the Smart Batteries with care; and
- If you become aware of any problem or abnormality with a Smart Battery (such as leakage, damage or distortion), please immediately cease using GoShare and the Smart Battery, put the GoShare electric scooter on “Motor Shutdown Mode” and lock the electric scooter, and contact Gogoro’s customer service (hotline: +886-2-7743-0695) for further assistance.
Gogoro is entitled to modify or amend the rules on the use of Smart Batteries at any time and notify you of the changes thereto via a public or personal notice or a message along with a billing statement.
You agree that, in the event of any damage to or loss of any part of the body, the seat, the luggage compartment, or any component or accessory of the GoShare electric scooter or the Smart Battery due to any cause attributable to you, Gogoro may charge you a repair fee, cleaning fee, reproduction fee and any loss of business at the full rates thereof. Gogoro will notify you via email or phone and give you seven (7) calendar days to inspect the vehicle, after which Gogoro will repair/replace the vehicle and charge you for the fees.
Please note that the GoShare electric scooters are not covered by any burglary and theft insurance. If the GoShare electric scooter rented out by you is stolen or burglarized, you shall promptly file a police report with the nearest police precinct and immediately contact Gogoro’s customer service (hotline: +886-2-7743-0695). Also, upon completing the police report, you shall submit a copy of the police report to the GoShare service center (address: Chang’an East Road, Section 2, #225, Building C, 11F, Taipei) within twenty-four (24) hours thereafter. Gogoro will charge you rental from the time when you rented the GoShare electric scooter to the time when the scooter was lost (based on the time stated in the police report), and will also require you to compensate Gogoro’s loss of business from the time when the scooter was lost to the time when the scooter was found. If the GoShare electric scooter is not found after three (3) months or is severely damaged when it is found, you will be required to compensate Gogoro for the value of such scooter after factoring in depreciation as well as any and all damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith.
If you become involved in any fall-down, collision, collision with others and vehicles of others, crash or other traffic accident while riding a GoShare electric scooter regardless of being with personal injury or not, you shall call the police immediately and contact Gogoro’s customer service (hotline: 886-2-7743-0695). You understand fully that if you fail to notify the police and obtain a police report, the insurance coverage may be adversely impacted, and may escalate the damages. If such an accident causes any personal or property damage, you may not waive any of the rights to claim damages against any third party or enter into any settlement with any third party without the prior written consents from Gogoro and the insurance company. You shall be solely responsible for any roadside assistance fee, repair fee and other necessary expenses arising from such traffic accidents or in connection thereto. Gogoro may also pursue a claim against you for any damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith, including but not limited to Gogoro’s loss of business.
Without limiting the foregoing, if you become involved in any collision with others’ vehicles, you shall be responsible for all actual repair costs of Gogoro arising out of the damages of GoShare electric scooter, provided that Gogoro agrees to cap your liability at NTD20,000 in maximum where the actual repair costs exceed such amount. Provided further however that, if you violate the Terms and Conditions or other laws and regulations, or occur to have one of the following circumstances, you shall still be responsible for all damages of Gogoro:
- the accident is due to collision with unknown vehicle or object;
- the cause of accident is unclear (e.g. fall-down or collision by rider himself / herself or being unable to identity counterparty’s identity or plate number);
- the accident is due to your willful conduct or incitement;
- the accident is due to your or rider’s criminal activity, or incitement of the same, or resistance to legitimate arrest;
- you occur to have hit-and-run after accident;
- you or rider drives under the influence by taking alcohol or restricted drugs;
- the accident is due to you or rider’s participation in racing, competition or test drive for function, performance or speed;
- you or rider voluntarily settles with the counterparty by agreeing to bear full responsibility;
- you or rider carries passenger or goods for a fare or has similar activities;
- the accident is due to other’s theft, abrupt taking or robbery; or
- the accident is due to natural disasters, such as typhoons, earthquakes, floods, inundation or mudslides.
Without Gogoro’s prior written consent, apart from ordinary riding, you may not use the GoShare electric scooters for any commercial or non-commercial purposes such as delivery, marketing, advertisement, promotion, shooting of movies, clips, live streaming, photography or presentation of products.
Force Majeure; Temporary Suspension of Services
In the event that Gogoro is unable to or delays to perform any obligations under the Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to temporarily suspending the GoShare Services, any interruption of or inability to operate the GoShare Services as usual) due to events beyond Gogoro’s reasonable expectation or control, including but not limited to power failure, telecommunication failure, earthquake, storm, typhoon, flood, other natural disaster, fire, explosion, riot, war, terrorist activity, epidemic, strike or other industrial disputes, changes of laws or other government actions, Gogoro will explain the reasons behind such non-performance via the GoShare system and also provide an estimated timeline as to when the GoShare Services are expected to resume; Gogoro will not be liable for any and all damage and/or loss arising therefrom or in connection therewith.
Termination
If your use of GoShare electric scooters is in violation of the Terms and Conditions or other laws and regulations, Gogoro has the right to suspend the provision of GoShare Services to your GoShare Account and may terminate your GoShare Account without further notice. You may not pursue any claims against Gogoro for any loss or damages based on such suspension and/or termination. Gogoro’s termination of your GoShare Account or suspension of your use of GoShare Services in part or in whole is without prejudice to Gogoro’s rights to pursue any claims against you.
Insurance
Gogoro has taken out compulsory automobile liability insurance and obtained additional coverage for certain risks, as listed below (but not burglary and theft insurance) for all GoShare electric scooters. You may take out other insurance policies as you deem necessary:
- Compulsory automobile liability insurance:
- Pays up to NT$ 2 million in benefits for death or disability per person
- Pays up to NT$ 200,000 in benefits for personal injury medical expenses
- Compulsory driver insurance:
- Pays up to NT$ 2 million in benefits for death or disability per accident
- Pays up to NT$ 200,000 in benefits for personal injury medical expenses
- Third party liability insurance:
- Pays up to NT$ 2 million in benefits for injury or loss of life
- Pays up to NT$ 4 million in benefits per accident
- Pays up to NT$ 200,000 in benefits for property damages per accident

Privacy
Gogoro has put in place a privacy policy pertaining to GoShare Services, and the GoShare Privacy Policy is hereby incorporated by reference into the Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to carefully read the GoShare Privacy Policy in its entirety before using GoShare. By using GoShare Services, you acknowledge that you agree to and accept the GoShare Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge the risk that any message or information provided by you in respect of GoShare Services may be read or intercepted by others.
Intellectual Property Rights
You acknowledge that without Gogoro’s prior written consent, you may not reproduce, adopt or otherwise use, whether in part or in whole, any materials contained in GoShare Services, including the text, user interfaces, information, data, photographs, videos, audio clips, software, scripts, graphics, interactive features, visual interfaces, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, computer code, design, structure, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of such materials. Such materials are owned, possessed, controlled or licensed by or to Gogoro. You shall respect the intellectual property rights and trade secrets of GoShare Services, and refrain from any conduct that may potentially infringe upon such intellectual property rights or trade secrets.
Third Party Links
In the event that any of the GoShare Services contain links to other websites or links to services or online resources provided by a third party (the “Third Party Links”), the Third Party Links are provided only for your convenience and the inclusion of the Third Party Links may not be construed as the existence of any relationship between Gogoro and the owners or operators of such websites, services or online resources. Gogoro has no control over the Third Party Links and you acknowledge that Gogoro is not responsible for the content, functions accuracy, legality, appropriateness or any other aspect of the Third Party Links or the content thereof. You shall be solely responsible for assuming the risks with respect to your access to and use of the Third Party Links. Gogoro will not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage and/or loss caused or allegedly caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance upon anything relating to the Third Party Links.
Disclaimer
GoShare services and the content thereof are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, solely according to the current functionality and condition of the electric scooters and Smart Batteries in operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goshare expressly disclaims any representations, warranties, or guarantees, including but not limited to those related to accuracy, reliability, satisfaction, quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, Goshare is not liable for damages related to the scooter or Smart Batteries services.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gogoro will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages established on any legal basis, including but not limited to breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even if Gogoro has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gogoro’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of GoShare Services for all claims of any kind will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Gogoro for your use of GoShare Services, regardless of whether such claims are raised on any legal basis, including but not limited to breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise. The existence of multiple actions/claims arising out of or in connection with your use of GoShare Services shall not raise the upper limit on damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gogoro and its directors, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers and business partners from all claims, damage and/or loss, fines, costs and fees (including but not limited to reasonable lawyer’s fee) arising out of or in connection with the death, bodily injury or property damage and/or loss of any third party caused by your violation of the Terms and Conditions or improper use of GoShare Services.
You agree to, to the extent reasonable, assist Gogoro and its directors, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers and business partners in the defense of any actions arising from your violation of the Terms and Conditions or improper use of GoShare Services. Without Gogoro’s prior written consent, you may not waive any rights to pursue any claims against a third party and may not enter into any settlement with any third party with regard to any matters.
This indemnification clause will survive the termination of your use of GoShare Services or Gogoro’s termination of your GoShare Account.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
You agree that the Terms and Conditions and any disputes or controversies arising out of or in connection with your use of GoShare Services shall be governed by the law of the Republic of China (Taiwan) without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. In the event of any dispute or controversy between you and Gogoro arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions or your use of GoShare Services, you and Gogoro will first attempt to resolve any such dispute or controversy amicably in good faith. If an amicable resolution to any such dispute cannot be reached within sixty (60) days, either you or Gogoro may submit such dispute or controversy to mediation with the Taipei District Court in Taiwan. If such dispute or controversy cannot be resolved through mediation, you and Gogoro agree that the Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance with jurisdiction over such dispute or controversy, provided that it does not exclude the applicability of Article 47 of Consumer Protection Act and Article 436-9 (jurisdiction of small amount litigation) of Civil Procedures Act. You and Gogoro agree not to pursue any other form of dispute resolution while a dispute or controversy has not yet been resolved pursuant to the terms of this clause.
General
The Terms and Conditions constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Gogoro with respect to your use of GoShare Services and supersede any and all previous and contemporaneous statements, covenants, representations, warranties, commitments, agreements or arrangements (whether expressed verbally or through written or electronic means). No other terms may be implied by any trade, custom, practice or course of dealing. Gogoro hereby explicitly excludes all other terms you have or may attempt to propose or reference. You may not rely upon any other statements, covenants, representations, warranties, commitments, agreements or arrangements not contained herein.
If a court or any competent authority should determine that any provision of the Terms and Conditions is ineffective, invalid or unenforceable, you agree that such provision shall be given effect to the maximum extent possible by narrowing or eliminating the ineffective, invalid or unenforceable parts or aspects of the provision and be replaced by an effective provision that comes closest to the intention of the ineffective provision; the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
Unless otherwise stipulated in the Terms and Conditions, Gogoro may send you any notice by any lawful means, including but not limited to posting a notice on GoShare App or by sending the notice to any mobile phone numbers, email or mailing address that you have provided to Gogoro. You shall check the notices on GoShare App regularly or from time to time and keep your mobile phone numbers, email and mailing addresses updated at all times. Gogoro will send all notices to the email address most recently provided by you regardless of whether such email address has been successfully authenticated by the system. You agree to send any notice to Gogoro at support.tw@ridegoshare.com.
You may not submit to Gogoro or any personnel of Gogoro any unsolicited ideas, including but not limited to any creative concepts, methods, technologies, processes, formula, programs, designs or other information that may be used in manufacturing or sale of products or operation of business. Gogoro or any personnel of Gogoro will not accept or consider any unsolicited ideas and will not treat any unsolicited ideas as confidential or proprietary. Notwithstanding Gogoro’s request that you should not submit any unsolicited ideas to Gogoro or any Gogoro personnel, to avoid any potential dispute or misunderstanding where Gogoro’s merchandise, service or marketing plan happens to be similar to any unsolicited ideas you provide to Gogoro or any Gogoro personnel, you agree to unconditionally grant a royalty-free and irrevocable license to Gogoro to use the unsolicited ideas. Gogoro may, for any purpose and through any means, make use of or distribute such unsolicited ideas.
Gogoro’s failure or delay to demand the performance of your obligations under the Terms and Conditions, or Gogoro’s failure or delay to exercise its rights under the Terms and Conditions shall not be interpreted as you no longer having to perform such obligations nor Gogoro’s waiver of such rights. Under any circumstances, Gogoro’s one-time waiver of any rights hereunder may not be construed as Gogoro’s continued waiver of such rights or other rights hereunder. No third party may pursue any claims or seek any remedies based on the Terms and Conditions. The dealings between Gogoro and you or Gogoro and any third party will in no event change or replace any provisions of the Terms and Conditions. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions or any waivers of Gogoro’s rights hereunder must be made in writing and be signed by a representative duly authorized by Gogoro to have binding effect.
The headings of sections and paragraphs herein are included solely for convenience of reference and shall not be used to define, restrict, describe or interpret any of the provisions of the Terms and Conditions.
The Terms and Conditions are made in Chinese and the translation thereof into any language is for reference only. In the event of any inconsistencies between the Chinese and other language versions of the Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall take precedence.
Mandatory Provisions to be Included in Standard Form Contract for Motorbike Rental
This section is made in accordance with the “Mandatory Provisions to be Included in Standard Form Contract for Motorbike Rental” announced by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications with its letter of Chia-Lu-1-Zhi-11086008044 dated December 28, 2021 (and its subsequent amendment from time to time). This section shall constitute part of these Terms and Conditions. Should there is any discrepancy between this section and the other sections, the contents of this section shall prevail.

Contract Review
Please carefully and thoroughly review the Terms and Conditions before using GoShare Services. When you click “Confirm” (or other equivalent buttons) and start to use GoShare Services, it represents that you agree on the contents of the Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions and contents shown on GoShare App shall constitute the written contract between both parties with regard to the GoShare Services.

- Basic Information of Lessor
- Rental Subject
Fittings and accessories with the scooter include one GoShare standard 3/4 type helmet and one 1/2 type helmet, respectively. Model and plate number of the rental subject is shown on the GoShare App. Before you use GoShare Services to rent an electric scooter, you may photoshoot the exterior of the electric scooter by yourself as an evidence of rental.
- Rental Term, Fuel Meter, Mileage and Operating Area
GoShare Services allow registered users to rent a GoShare electric scooter at point A and return it at point B, so that the fuel meter is not applicable. Rental term and mileage of GoShare Service are subject to your actual usage time and the operating area depends on the service area shown on the GoShare App.

- Rental Payment, Guarantee and Return
Payment method of rental of GoShare Services will be your credit card or debit car registered, or the e-payment (such as LINE PAY) so chosen via the GoShare App. GoShare Services do not collect any guarantee or bond.
- Rental and Fee Rate
Please refer to the “Rental Rate and Payment Method” section and the fee rate as shown on the GoShare App from time to time.
- Pick-up / Drop-off and Energy Type
Energy type of GoShare Services: Electric
Battery swap stations of GoShare Services are shown on the map of GoShare App. Unless the battery is exhausted, in principle you do not need to go to a battery swap station to swap battery. If you need to do so, please follow the instructions in the frequent Q&As in GoShare App without any additional charge. The residual power of each electric scooter will be shown on the map of GoShare App. - Prohibitive Behavior
When using the GoShare Services, you shall not overload, carry any prohibitive, dangerous, dirty, improper items or any items that may damage the scooter. You shall not act in violation of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act or drive under influence or hit-and-run.
If you are using the GoShare Service to rent an electric scooter and any of the following situations occur, you should immediately notify Gogoro. Upon receiving your notification or otherwise becoming aware of any of the following situations, Gogoro may terminate your electric scooter rental agreement and, if there is any other damage, may claim damages from you:
- using the GoShare service to transport prohibited items, dangerous goods, unclean or easily soiled items, animals that are not suitable for riding, or other items that may affect riding safety, or any other behavior that violates the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act;
- using the electric scooter to commit a crime under Article 185-3 (drunk driving, drug driving) or Article 185-4 (hit-and-run after accident) of the Criminal Codes;
- failing to use rental electric scooter within the scope specified in this Terms and Conditions; or
- allowing any third party to ride a rental electric scooter.
- Proof with the Scooter and Payment of Relevant Expenses
When using GoShare Services, you shall carry your mobile phone or other hand devices installed with GoShare App, as a proof of renting a GoShare electric scooter. As to the parking fees, fines or penalties incurred during the course of using GoShare Services, please refer to the “Eligibility”, “Reminder to Users” and “Rental Rate and Payment Method” sections. For the avoidance of doubt, where the scooter or its plate is suspended (including tow away and suspension) by the competent authority due to a cause attributable to you, Gogoro may claim against you for the rental from the suspension time until the day the scooter / plate is taken back (if it occurs within the rental term). For the period beyond the rental term, Gogoro may claim against you for the indemnification equivalent to rental.
- Responsibility of Lessee
You shall act with due care of a good administrator when taking custody of and using GoShare electric scooter and shall not operate improperly, sell, create security interest over, pledge, offer as guarantee on or pawn the Gogoro electric scooter.
- Responsibility of Lessor
Gogoro shall ensure GoShare electric scooter being in a status for proper use during the rental term.
If you notice that the GoShare electric scooter, its fittings and accessories are not in a status for proper use and immediately notify our service desk (hotline: 02-7743-0695) within 5 minutes after pick-up, and then drop-off the scooter at the same location, Gogoro will not charge any fees.
If there is any malfunction or abnormal issue on the scooter, you shall not rent it or immediately stop using it and notify our service desk (hotline: 02-7743-0695). You may also request a rent reduction, terminate the lease agreement, or rent another GoShare electric scooter yourself; however, Gogoro reserves the final decision on your request, including but not limited to protecting your rights in other ways agreed upon by both parties. - Liability of Lessor
If Gogoro violates any obligation in the Terms and Conditions and cause damage to you, it will be liable for loss and damage so incurred by you.
- Handling Method for Scooter Collision or Crash
Unless you have a legitimate reason not to report to the police (e.g., serious injury, unconsciousness, or other similar situations) or the incident is not legally within the jurisdiction of the police, you should immediately report the incident to the police in accordance with the “Reminder to Users” section of this Terms and Conditions.
For the avoidance of doubt, where the repair occurs during the rental term, Gogoro may claim for the rental against you. Where the repair occurs beyond the rental term, Gogoro may claim against you for the indemnification equivalent to rental in accordance with paragraph 15(2). Please refer to the “Reminder to Users” section.
- Indemnification for Scooter Crash
- If the GoShare electric scooter is damaged due to a cause attributable to you and cannot be repaired or the repair is too costly, you shall indemnify us against then prevailing market price.
- If the scooter can be repaired, you shall indemnify us against the loss of profit (rental) up to 15 days in accordance with the following standards:
- From the day after the expiration rental to 7th day(inclusive), you shall indemnify us against 50% of the rental equivalent to repair period.
- From the 8th day to 15th day(inclusive), you shall indemnify us against 40% of the rental equivalent to repair period.
- Handling Method for Scooter Lost or Theft
In the event that the GoShare electric scooter you rented is lost or stolen, you shall immediately report the incident to the police and notify Gogoro. However, this shall not apply in cases where you are unable to report the incident or notify Gogoro.
If the GoShare electric scooter is lost or stolen due to a cause attributable to you, you shall indemnify us against our loss and damage. The indemnification amount shall be subject to the weight of the attributable situation, whether the scooter is recovered, whether there is any insurance coverage and the residual value of the electric scooter.

- Pick-up and Drop-off Location
GoShare Services allow registered users to rent a GoShare electric scooter at point A and return it at point B, provided that you shall park the electric scooter at a legal parking space within GoShare service area. For the other provisions, please refer to the “Reminder to Users” section.
If you do not park the rented GoShare electric scooter in the parking space specified in the "Riding Precautions" section of this Terms and Conditions, Gogoro will charge you a relocation fee in accordance with the "Service Rates and Deduction Methods" section of this Terms and Conditions. The charging standard is as follows: (i) within 5.6 kilometers of the operating area (based on the GoShare system record), the fee is NTD $300; (ii) for each additional 1.4 kilometers beyond the operating area, the fee will increase by NTD $100; and (iii) the fee will be NTD $2,000 for distances beyond 22.4 kilometers. The final relocation fee will be calculated based on the actual relocation situation.

- Extension of Rental Term
GoShare Services do not have a limit on rental terms. However, you agree to use GoShare Services based on the principle of fair use and not occupy any GoShare electric scooter repeatedly or for a prolonged period of time, and may not prevent other users from renting any GoShare electric scooter by any other means (e.g., swapping batteries between two GoShare electric scooters). For the other provisions, please refer to the “GoShare Services” section.
