TAIPEI - Gogoro today announced it was partnering with Taiwan scooter makers, Aeon and PGO. The companies will leverage the Gogoro Energy Network and manufacture scooters that utilize its advanced battery swapping platform across Taiwan. Aeon’s new electric scooter is expected to be available in the summer of 2019, and PGO’s scooter will be available in the second half of 2019.
The announcement is the latest testament to Gogoro’s vision for expanding the Gogoro Energy Network as a platform beyond its own vehicles and into an ecosystem that provides vehicle makers with a supported path to transition future vehicles to sustainable energy that customers can embrace.
