COMPATIBILITY

To install the Gogoro® App, you must have an iPhone running iOS 12 and above, or an Android device running Android 6.0 or higher.

To take full advantage of all of the functionality available through the Gogoro® App, your mobile device needs to support Bluetooth Low Energy Peripheral Mode. Older handsets might not support these requirements, though newer models nearly always do.

Here is a list of mobile devices that we believe meet the necessary requirements:

  • Not all of the devices in the list have been tested by Gogoro, and there are also supported devices yet to be listed. We will update this list periodically.
  • Any or some Gogoro® App functions / features may still not be workable on the compatible mobile devices shown here due to the country or region the Gogoro® App users is located, individual mobile device variations, mobile operator customizations, operating system settings, different energy plan subscriptions, different scooter models, or any conditions that are not under Gogoro’s control. Gogoro does not guarantee each and every customers may access the full functions/features of Gogoro® App.

Your mobile device is not on this list？

If you did not see your mobile device on the list, then either your device does not support BLE Peripheral Mode, or it’s a device that we have not yet encountered.

Because nearly all new devices support BLE Peripheral Mode, if you do not see your new device on our list, then chances are that we simply haven’t yet added it.

To be certain, please download the BLE Central, Peripheral Check app from the Google Play store, and check to see if your device supports BLE Peripheral Mode. If your phone supports BLE Peripheral Mode, then let us know.

If your phone does not support BLE Peripheral Mode, then you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Gogoro® App until you upgrade to a newer mobile device.

You will still have access to the majority of the App’s functionality, including:

  • Finding and reserving batteries.
  • Customizing most of your Gogoro experience. Your speed warnings, regenerative braking, lighting behavior, locking behavior, and more.
  • Tracking your ride status. Your top speed, mileage, CO2 consumption, and more.
  • Scheduling service reservations.
  • Managing your plan and pay your bill.
  • Earning badges.
  • Getting online help, when needed.

Some advanced functionality such as remote lock / unlock from phone, Security Boost Protection, or others might not be available on your current mobile device. Remember: you can upgrade to a supported device at any time. All functionality will be available with the upgraded device.
